The Pottstown Hospital is a community
non-profit organization chartered in 1894. The
$3,000,000 addition completed in 1955 won
national recognition for architectural design.
This addition brought the hospital capacity
to 150 beds and 30 bassinets. The Pottstown
Hospital has a school of nursing.
