Wrightwood, California
This mile-high resort is located in Swartout Valley
on Highway C2, at the southern end of San Gabriel
Mountains. A hundred years ago bear were found
in great numbers in the area. Today deer is the
largest game to be seen. Wrightwood is popular in
winter as well as summer. Summer camps are found
in the valleys and hill-sides of the mountain range.
