Tom's Place – Rock Creek
Rock Creek flows down to highway 395 from Rock Creek
Lakes. There are a great number of camps located along this
stream. Tom's Place, located on highway 395, is a stopping
place for hunters and fishermen in the area. To the north,
lower end of Long Valley, is Crawley Lake and to the south
is the summit of Sherwin Grade. Below the grade highway 395
descends into the vast Owens Valley . . . M.P.
